M. Katie McInerney

Katie McInerney received her B.S in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. In 2011, Katie joined Gehlbach Law Office in Lincoln, Illinois, before moving to Morris, Illinois in 2013 where she joined, what was then known as, Hynds, Rooks, Yohnka and Bzdill Law Office. She became a partner in 2016 and focused her practice on estate planning, probate, guardianships, corporate and business law, and real estate.

Since moving to Morris, Katie has joined several charitable boards and is currently the Treasurer of We Care of Grundy County – a non-profit which began as a food bank and offers classes and financial assistance to those in need.

On August 1, 2022, Katie started her own solo practice, McInerney Law Office, P.C., in Morris. She is pleased to continue offering the same services to her client in the areas of estate planning, probate estate guardianships, corporate and business law, and real estate.
